Baranti woman death due to doctor negligence, family members blame

It has been alleged that a Baranti was a victim of the negligence and bribery of the Government Women and Children's Hospital of Chintamani Taluk of Chikkaballapur district.

It has been alleged that the woman died due to the doctor's negligence. The family members of the deceased woman protested by placing the dead body in front of Chintamani Hospital in Chikkaballapur district and demanded that the doctor should be dismissed from service.

Netravati is a woman from Neelpalli village of Chintamani taluk. A few days ago, Netravati was admitted to the hospital for delivery.

After caesarean section, doctor Jayanti discharged both the baby and the mother saying that they are healthy. Netravati suddenly developed jaundice three days after cesarean section. This has resulted in liver problems, kidney failure and nervousness due to infection.

The doctors of another hospital have convinced the relatives of the deceased that there was negligence by not putting the stitches properly. Netravathi's family members have alleged that Netravathi died due to multi-organ problem due to water and pus filling her wound due to infection.
